SPEO Recognizes 2024 Wallenberg Spirit Award Recipient, Mark Horner
Mark Horner is the recipient of this year’s Wallenberg Spirit Award. Mark accepted the award at the conclusion of SPEO’s 2024 Annual Opportunities Forum on February 6, 2024. The award is presented annually to a member-selected recipient who epitomizes the spirit of Raoul Wallenberg: “for making the lives of others better; for lifting up others because it is the right thing to do, not because the world is watching; for simply helping others because they are human beings, not because they are of a certain race.”
Presenting the Wallenberg award was SPEO Chair, Holly Douglas, who noted Mark’s outstanding contributions to SPEO and the Public Awareness Committee.
